Loading ...Well, kind of back. Update schedule is still on vacation schedule until the 31st. But none the less, it feels good to be back. Never got used to the hotel toilets with the gasket warmers. I prefer my toilets cold and dank.
Unfortunately, comment spammers took over the site. Spent two hours cleaning it up. With the volume of spam really escalating since I cleaned it up earlier today. If your comment got wiped, sorry, I mistook it for a comment about either selling gold, buying insurance, buying Florida real estate, buying viagra, buying prescription drugs, coupons, porno, buying samsung televisions or Istanbul escorts*. Also implemented Captcha for the comments to block spammers. It’s an inconvenience, I know, but a necessary one. Hopefully it doesn’t discourage anyone from leaving a comment on my site. I don’t think I can spend 2 hours a day or possibly more cleaning up spam.
Well, other than that, I’m trying to adjust to our time zone again. Slept three hours last night and took a five hour nap today. I’d say I’m almost adjusted. Other than the spam, it doesn’t appear as if the site totally fell apart, so I’m grateful for that. Thanks everyone for continuing to drop by and read the strip. Got some new story lines and new ideas (or old ideas packaged differently) coming, so stay tuned.
