Luck little $#!7, the laptop I was looking at has problems with the motherboard and so the manufacturer of the motherboard is doing some redesigning and I won’t be able to order a Digital Storm x17E for a week or four, and I need the new one before I get to dine in Hell myself (mmmm……Demon Steak, it sounds so darn bloody, good thing I just ate).
lol, I’m not gonna sugar coat it, Demon steak is freaking tasty as MF’in ambrosia. D3 runs surprisingly smooth on my outdated comp tho. All I did was install the service packs for vista.
I’d have to back up a lot of stuff to create the HDD space needed to attempt that, and as neither of my computers was ever able to handle the promotional videos I highly doubt it’d do me any good anyhow. That, and my current laptop (which is my only Windows box, the desktop is running Linux) has BIOS problems that cause it to have problems accessing the optical drive, and have recently extended to the HDD. When you have to wait 10+ minutes for it to move a file, but then for the next 8 hours it runs fine it’s clear the problem isn’t with the HDD.
Ah, you lost me at HDD. But I think I got the general idea of what your trying to say. No way in hell are you able to run it with what you currently have. Well, the wait will make it that much better, but . . . I’m currently in act 2 and the game has already gave me 10 nerdgasms already.
HDD: Hard Disk Drive, the technical name of that thingy in your computer that has the data for all of the programs and other files on your computer inside it. On a Windows operating system the primary one is always labeled as C.
I can’t tell you what the acronym BIOS stands for, but the BIOS is the coding directly in the Motherboard that allows it to do its job so that the computer can boot up and access all of its components. The ‘drivers’ that Windows uses just tell it how to communicate with a specific component, but it’s the Motherboard (and the BIOS) that the communications go through and are relied on to keep the communications going smoothly.
Also, I should point out that my current laptop just barely manages to make Titan Quest playable, and the minimum requirements for Diablo III are a LOT
(!$^%%@^@%$#!!$#^$# I DID NOT hit enter, I clipped Tab and hit space and THAT posted the comment)…higher than the recommended system specs for Titan Quest, which is the primary reason I knew it couldn’t handle the game.
I realized that I still had this listed as “on hiatus.” Catching up was awesome. I also have D3, but their servers have been down every single time I have tried to set mind up. I still say they are a government company, wait 12 years to put out a product and still get it wrong!
Ah sweet, all caught up now. I guess Greg’s going back on hiatus.
But damn, that sucks not being even able to log in. The game has been pretty sweet so far, not power leveling like I was able to for games pre-newborn, but it’s still fun.
Yea, I don’t know how they have all that server instability. Did they not think they were releasing the most anticipated pc game in over a decade?
First – Greg is disturbingly attractive as a women
Secon – I hate you, I havn’t the funds to get D3 for at least another month, and then I’m hoping to get it for my birthday. So enjoy the hell out of…well…hell for me. I guess I can’t really hate, though the petty side of me is happy they are having all the server issues =P
lol, damn, well, D3 will still be around when you get the funds for it. They haven’t implemented PVP yet, and I’m pretty sure there will be a decent amount of fixes and patches in between. Should be a better game by then.
That’s what I’m hoping for, though my friend has said that the dialog and feel isn’t very dark or “Diablo-y”. So now I’m worried. Still gonna get it, just worried.
eh, dark atmosphere was never my thing for the diablo series. It was never frightening to begin with. I just want to feel like a big man destroying legions of demons all the while scoring phat lootz. I think if you go into the game with that mindset, it should not disappoint.
Excellent, that was my mindset for Diablo 2. Be better than the enemy, crush the enemy, score teh lootz. Plus all the classes look awesome, and my favorite thing is leveling (I don’t know why).
everyone is excited for diablo 3 but the cards are not in my favor for getting it right now
ah yea, it’s a solid game, but a decent amount of maintenance going on for launch week. So getting the game a lil later is all right.
…new poll idea…sexy greg yes or no…
lol, i’m not sure I want to know how many of my readers are weird and disturbing.
says the guy who put gregs head on a dominatrix’s body…
I’d tap that.
lol, i guess if thou has boobs, thou shalt be tapped.

I like boobies.
Does that include Greg’s moobies?
That last panel is disturbing.
haha, hopefully in a non sexy way.
Greg looks a little too good as a woman.
lol, I’m feeling like Greg might be a lil more popular as a gender bender.

The last panel is pure gold!
Awesome! Glad you like it.
