The rhyming from the mysterious voice that keeps on freeing Greg was actually inspired by one of my readers. Many thanks to Daniel Rulo. He’s an aspiring poet who plugged my site on his fan page about a month back, which I happened to link. Good stuff, not the comedic stuff I write, but soulful stuff.

But reading through his poems got me thinking about how un-poetic I am and how the only thing close to poems I can write are nursery rhymes. So I decided to give it a spin through the mysterious voice. I enjoy writing the rhymes now. Pretty cool how it all came together.

I enjoyed the comic and thank you for the back story on the “mystery voice.” Keep it up.
Hey, I’m glad you enjoy the comic and also the back story. And thanks for the encouragement! I’ll keep working at it.
Time to find some new heroes.
haha, I’m not sure if they were heroes to begin with.
I thought someone would only get turned to stone if they saw the medusa’s face. Somehow I suspect those guys would never get above her neck, a case of her assets and attributes working against her.
Yea, that’s if they are really up close, like inches away from her assets, but peripheral vision does play a part when you’re at their distance.
I thought you were only turned to stone if you stared at the Medusa’s face directly.
vfvvehe
Medusa is so hot, no wonder they looked
haha yea, cool background on your site by the way.
Heh, heh, yeah! Because everyone knows that men are all these sex-obsessed half-cavemen who have absolutely no chance against a woman taking her clothes off!
Hehe, yeah! Funny! So fucking funny! And not incredibly fucking offensive at all!
. . . I’m detecting some anger here . . . I’m just going to leave the comment as is.
It’s not a joke about all men being sex-obsessed. Just Greg and Ted being curious horn-dogs. Also, as my confession, even though I am female I was curious about this comic via seeing the ad-vert featuring panels here… I’m not a perv… but I am a liar.
Well, the add that got me here had the Medusa saying “Men” when they look at her and they turn to stone. That seems to be suggesting all men are like that, and that seems pretty sexist to me.
I’m sure if there was a comic where women only thought with their genitals and then looked at a male equivalent of medusa every time he suggested something, or a male kept saying that there was a sale at some department store repeatedly and the women kept turning and were turned to stone, and the last time it happened a mysterious voice said “consumerist idiots,” then there would be uproar, and then it would be called sexist and it would be a joke about all women being obsessed with shopping and being consumerist.

well, Terra’s “stoning” is only temporary since she’s a bit less hostile than most gorgon’s….but

better version
haha, awesome work there. Good advice too, I’ll keep that in mind if I ever run into a gorgon.
It is just way too easy for her, isn’t it? I doubt they’ll ever learn…
haha, you are correct.
To be fair, on a purly logistic level i may have been curious too.
I’m scared of what she can do with a butternut squash
All that work to say more than “Wise Fwhomm your Gwaive!!” and it’s wasted on these guys.
(Altered Beast, look it up)
lol, awesome reference.
This comic….sooooo wrong, but soooooo funny. Hesitated for a LONG time because I didn’t think it was a legit advertisement (never can tell these days!). It was fantastic. Great job.
Ah thanks Heather! Glad you decided to click on the ad. Yea, I didn’t know what would make for an effective ad, so I just turned a strip into an ad and hoped people stayed around for the same brand of humor throughout the comic.
The thing is, the Menage a 3 comic actually delivers on the advertising.
Stoned for life.
Lol
